Databases
The FKCC Library provides our students and staff with access to an excellent selection of health databases, providing access to full text articles, newspapers, multimedia and more. The databases are available from the FKCC Library web site.

  • CINAHL – FKCC database
    A comprehensive database for nursing and allied health; provides summaries of articles from more than 1,900 journals covering all facets of sociology and related disciplines, including anthropology, criminology, demography, and urban studies.
  • Health and Nursing - FKCC database
  • Health and Wellness - FKCC database
  • Health Reference Center (Academic) - FKCC database
  • Health Source: Consumer & Nursing/Academic Editions - FKCC database
    Provides access to nearly 600 scholarly full text journals focusing on medical and nursing disciplines; also provides basic citation and abstract information from over 500 additional medical and nursing journals.
  • MEDLINE – FKCC database
  • Nursing and Allied Health Source - FKCC database
  • Psychology Articles - FKCC database
  • PubMed - freely available on the Internet
    From the National Library of Medicine – this database includes over 14 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's; citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals.
